Police in Pazardzhik arrested another drunk behind the wheel. A 42-year-old man from the village of Mokrishte in Pazardzhik was arrested this morning during an operation in the town.
The driver did not stop when the signal was given and the law enforcement authorities had to chase him. After police stopped the driver, he was tested for alcohol.
A breathalyzer test showed a blood alcohol concentration of 3.42.
The Ministry of the Interior said that in the past week alone, 22 drivers were caught driving vehicles under the influence of alcohol, drugs or narcotics.
4 drivers who refused a test with technical means were also rejected.
“The police team was placed in a prominent, visible place. The police officer stopped the baton in the right order, saw him and passed him. In this case, this is a worse situation for him because he did not comply with orders from the police authority, which is visible and visible on the road,” said Miroslav Stoyanov, spokesman for the Regional Directorate of the Ministry of Interior in Pazardzhik.
