With more than three per thousand alcohol in his blood, a 47-year-old drove up to a gas station in Plauen on Sunday. As the police reported on Monday, the drunk drove into an advertising display shortly before 7 p.m. Passers-by then took the vehicle key away from him. The man then left the car and walked away. He was found at his home by police officers. He was found to have a breath alcohol concentration of 3.02 per mille. Two blood samples were taken, and the officers secured his driver’s license.
