Police in Hereford have appealed for witnesses to come forward after a toddler was assaulted by a drunk man near a Tesco store. The incident, which took place on April 29, saw officers called to the Bewell Street supermarket at around 7.15pm. While a man was arrested for drunk and disorderly behaviour and assault, police are now appealing for an unknown man who intervened during the incident to come forward. The police have also urged anyone who may have been in the area at the time to get in touch.
