Drunk duo winds through Germany, forgets handbrake and collides with police car | Inland

Rightly so, as it turned out later. The men (28 and 38 years old) were found to be under the influence, De Limburger reports. A police patrol eventually managed to trace the men, but a stop sign was ignored. In the end, the drunken gentlemen managed to send them into a closed road. But once brought to a stop, it still went wrong. The driver forgot to put his handbrake on, causing his car to collide with a patrol car. Officers said there was clearly a booze smell coming from the car.

The driver was unable to provide identification, driver’s license or other information and was therefore handcuffed. The co-driver was also arrested after he tried to prevent the arrest of his friend. Both suspects were put in police cell for sobering.
