Drunk driving crashes into a wall in a residential area

The Pyeongtaek Police Station in Gyeonggi Province announced on the 8th that it is investigating and booked Mr. Heo without detention on charges of violating the Road Traffic Act (drunk driving and failure to take action after an accident).
Heo Gong is accused of driving a vehicle in the area of Seojeong-dong, Pyeongtaek-si, Gyeonggi-do, while drunk at around 9:30 a.m. on the 11th of last month.
It is reported that he drove his car after drinking nearby, and in the process crashed into and damaged a wall in a residential area.
The police received a 112 call from a citizen saying, “There is a vehicle staggering in and out of the lane,” and went to the scene and found Heo’s vehicle.
As a result of a police sobriety test conducted at the scene, it was reported that Mr. Heo’s blood alcohol level was at the level of license revocation.
A police official said, “It was discovered that Mr. Heo crashed into a wall and left the scene without taking proper action, so we also charged him with failing to take action after an accident under the Road Traffic Act.”
Heo Gong is active as a singer with his younger brother Heo Gak. He debuted in 2011 with the album ‘New Story Part 1’.
