Drunk driver knocked down a cyclist
Tuesday morning the 26-year-old was out and about in her car in the Elisabeth-Vorstadt district. When the Salzburg woman wanted to turn left, she overlooked a cyclist who was driving along the cycle path. The car driver pushed the 21-year-old Brit down. The cyclist was taken to the Salzburg accident hospital. The police carried out an alcohol test on the driver of the car after the accident, which was positive with just under one per thousand. The 26-year-old’s driver’s license was therefore provisionally removed.
Motorcycle collided with a pedestrian
Also in Salzburg-Nonntal a traffic accident happened Tuesday morning in which a pedestrian was injured. A 59-year-old motorcycle driver drove out of town. The Salzburg man then collided with a 47-year-old pedestrian who fell. After the first aid, she was taken to the accident hospital in Salzburg. The motorcycle driver was able to prevent a fall in the collision, he was uninjured. An alcohol test that was carried out was negative.
