“Drunk Driver Causes Serious Collision on Kwattaweg in Suriname”

In the pouring rain, a drunk driver caused a serious collision on Kwattaweg in Suriname on Sunday evening.

The perpetrator drove the Toyota Carina (left on the photo) over the Kwattaweg towards Munderweg. The injured party drove the Toyota Mark X Zio in the opposite direction.

Just past Q-Mall, the drunk driver left his lane and rammed his oncoming vehicle hard from the front. No personal accidents occurred.

The police were called in and went to the scene to investigate. Both vehicles sustained major damage and were removed by a towing service.

The perpetrator was transferred by the police to the Munder office.
