First he rams parked cars, then he drives away: When a drunk man vomits after his accident, the police catch him.
Unterschleissheim– A 30-year-old from Munich had over two per mille alcohol in his blood when he caused an accident in Unterschleissheim while drunk and then committed a hit-and-run. But because a witness called the police, the officers were able to stop the drunk driver.
It happened on Thursday night in the Lohhof district: The man from Munich was driving his car on Nelkenstrasse, suddenly veered to the right and collided with a properly parked car. The force of the impact pushed the car onto another car.
The 30-year-old drove about two kilometers further anyway – then he had to stop to vomit. At that moment the police arrived. The man has lost his driving license for the time being and is also facing charges of endangering road traffic as a result of alcohol and of hit-and-run. The police estimate the total damage to all three vehicles at 10,000 euros.
