Edge was one of the founders of The Moody Blues. He played actively for half a century until 2018. The Moody Blues was an English rock band that lived through a golden era, especially in 1967–1972. The frontman and lead songwriter of the band was Justin Hayward.

In 1967, they were to record a rock version of Antonín Dvořák’s Novosvětská, but in the end they combined Dvořák with their own compositions and created the art album Days Of Future Passed with a touch of psychedelia.
