Drop expands fully customizable keyboard lineup with new CSTM65 keyboard
The leading community-driven mechanical keyboard brandDropToday launches the CSTM65 Keyboard – a 65% mechanical keyboard that provides a compact canvas for personalization. Following the launch of the CSTM80, the CSTM65 is the latest member of Drop’s CSTM series of highly customizable keyboards, providing a superior typing and customization experience.
Building on the success of the CSTM80, the CSTM65 presents a compact 65% layout for users looking for a more streamlined and portable typing experience, while offering the same level of customization as its predecessor. A hallmark of the CSTM series, the CSTM65 features an interchangeable magnetic casing (polycarbonate or aluminum) that wraps nearly the entire keyboard, which not only encourages users to easily configure the keyboard to their liking, but also provides designers with a wider canvas to facilitate the creation of more imaginative designs. Designed to be easily removed and replaced, users can choose from a variety of colorful and beautifully decorated cases with beautiful artwork to further personalize their keyboard. Combined with a variety of keycap options, switches, custom weight options, switch plates and cables*, users can easily mix and match designs to create a keyboard that reflects their personal style.
The complete CSTM65 keyboard features audiophile-grade technology features, including a gasket-mounted design, custom ABS keycaps with side legends optimized for south-facing switches, PCBA mounting stabilizers, 5-pin switch support, dynamic LED lighting, and customizability weight and five switch plate options. In addition to these features, the keyboard features multiple layers of premium foam for enhanced sound and feel. For the optimal typing experience, users also have the flexibility to choose between two switch options: tactile Gateron Brown Pro 3.0 or linear Gateron Yellow KS3.
“Personal expression and customization have always been at the core of Drop’s identity and remain our core focus in 2024,” said Lukas Mondoux, Director of Corsair Drop Studio. “With CSTM65, we are giving users a more compact keyboard option that they can Customize to your specific preferences.
