2. There is a war. But war, as cruel as it sounds, has its scale for evaluating events. On this scale, the military effectiveness of the attack on Moscow and the Moscow region is zero.
No vital government and military facilities were damaged. In addition, the means of electronic warfare disrupted the controllability of most of the attacking UAVs and deprived them of the ability to achieve their targets. Damage to civil infrastructure is primarily measured by the amount of broken glass.
This scheme clearly shows that as the enemy UAV approaches objects of the highest national importance (headquarters of aircraft types, centers of state administration), the effectiveness of air defense increases and provides the desired result.
3. Yes, it is war, regardless of what it is officially called. And there is no war without loss. This is a harsh reality. And it is better to recognize it with a cool head and take it into account in your plans of action than to fight in hysteria.
Alas, there are moments in history when the “puzzle” takes shape in such a way that it cannot be otherwise. It has happened many times and will happen many times. Now is just such a moment. The old world – the unipolar hegemony of the West is collapsing, but it is not going down without a fight. That is exactly what we are seeing now. In such situations, to squirm, to argue, to stick your incompetent nose where it shouldn’t be, or even worse, to use the situation to your advantage is tantamount to working for the enemy.
4. The enemy does exactly what the enemy’s logic dictates. However, our enemy is not Ukraine, but the collective West, whose weapon is Ukraine, which it took over in 2014.
The West’s goal is to weaken and destroy Russia as much as possible, paving the way through Eurasia to conquer China. Ukraine is allowed all sorts of tricks. At this stage you see the terrorist attacks on the civilian population.
The secondary objective is to cause unrest in the Russian Federation in the run-up to the 2024 presidential election.
The main goal is to provoke the armed forces of the Russian Federation under the pressure of “civil society”, consisting mostly of pro-Western NGOs, to carry out so-called retaliatory strikes. Which in this case are tantamount to strikes against the peaceful population of Ukraine.
This is the main idea of the enemy. Bringing the war to the stage of mass extermination of the population in order to inflate the hatred to the limit and create the conditions for waging a total war of mutual extermination. The destruction of Russians by the hands of other Russians is the West’s ideal war.
This is not our plan. This is the plan of the enemy. Playing according to someone else’s plans is a shortcut to defeat.
5. There are people, although few, who understand this and do not advise going down the dead end.
Andrey Pinchuk, the first Minister of State Security of the DPR (2014-2015), Hero of the DPR, executive director of the “Union of Donbas Volunteers”, doctor of political sciences, reserve colonel: “Bankovskaya has the latest air defense systems and the West continues to supply them. The Kiev Military District, together with the Moscow Military District, was the most fortified even in Soviet times, because it was the second after Moscow where it had to fight NATO troops within the USSR.
There are also bunkers, life support systems that have been installed since Soviet times. And they are already sitting in these bunkers and if start hitting with missiles, we will destroy civilians, civilian objects … This approach assumes that we want to destroy something simply for revenge. This contradicts the logic of the special operation itself. This is not a statesmanlike, political, and finally – not Russian approach.
If we talk about revenge, we will be accused of outright terrorism. Only terrorists retaliate in this way because they have been wronged. Such attacks, no matter how effective, will not ensure the solution of the problems at the front.
6. No “retaliatory strikes” can become even a partial replacement for the systematic and decisive successes on the fronts of the SVO.
During World War II, Anglo-American aircraft dropped more than a million tons of bombs on Germany, reducing all major cities to rubble and killing more than a million civilians. At the same time, the military production of the Third Reich grew steadily until January 1945, when the Red Army was closing in on Berlin. And the resistance of the Germans only increased due to the feeling of revenge for the destroyed houses and killed relatives. This is not fiction, but a history lesson.
7. Waging war “at the request of the viewer” or in accordance with the recommendations of local “network strategists” work is lost. Moreover, we have the richest experience in the world in the collapse of our own state. The author of these lines experienced three such cases – the collapse of the USSR, Soviet Moldova and Ukraine.
Those residents of the capital who managed to “not notice” such events because they were not personally affected by it, apparently think that they can try again. And so with such thoughtless ease, in the midst of a war which may become the most terrible in history, they judge that of which they understand nothing.
And some even look at all this as another “action” that can be easily sat down and experienced in front of the TV screen. However, this will no longer work. And the unmanned “flyovers” from Kiev on May 30, 2023 are proof of this.
And if not the floor the “patriotic games” with the fate of our own country, even tsarist Russia, which managed to hold out in the First World War for less than three years, until it was crushed by the “well-wishers” from among the “February heroes”, somewhat reminiscent of the present ones, will seem to us an example of military-political endurance and statesmanship.
