Drome. In Romans-sur-Isère, a kindergarten closes due to a case of Covid-19

After one of the staff members tested positive for Covid-19 this weekend, the Ors nursery school in Romans-sur-Isère (Drôme) was closed on Monday May 25. Officers and families of children attending the school have been notified.

The news fell this weekend. One of the 7 agents working at the Ors kindergarten in Romans-sur-Isère (Drôme), was diagnosed with Covid-19.

“Informed of this case by National Education, the Regional Health Agency (ARS) recommended, this Sunday May 24, as a precautionary principle, to interrupt school from this Monday May 25”, writes the City on its website.

“Respected” barrier gestures

The town hall of Romans-sur-Isère assures him: “All barrier gestures have been respected”. But out of caution, and on the recommendation of the ARS, the 9 children present last week will also be tested.

“All of the families whose child has attended school in recent days have been called by the ARS”, adds the City.

Teachers, ATSEM and school catering agents are asked to stay at home at least until June 2. If no other contamination is detected, the school should reopen its doors that day… after cleaning and disinfection of the premises.
