Drôme Firefighters Mobilized: Updates and Road Closures in Saint-Vallier, Anneyron, and Châteauneuf-de-Galaure

In Drôme, the SDIS is mobilizing around a hundred firefighters at this stage. Three forward command posts (PCA) are activated at Saint-Vallier, Anneyron et Châteauneuf-de-Galaure. They bring together 24 municipalities. 13 municipalities affected by this episode have activated their municipal protection plans (PCS): Anneyron, Albon, Saint-Sorlin, Saint-Vallier, Châteauneuf-de-Galaure, Laveyron, Beaussemblant, Moras, Saint Barthelemy de Vals, Saint-Jean-de-Galaure, Ponsas, Clérieux, Mureils.

Since the beginning of the episode, 130 interventions are counted half of which are in progress.

The RN 7 is cut preventively at the level of Tain-l’Hermitage in the south-north direction.

The A7 is impacted by slowdowns in the North Drôme around PK 44 (at the level of Saint-Barthélemy-de-Vals) and PK 49 (at the level of Chantemerle-les-Blés) due to mudslides on the emergency lanes and the first lane.

The prefect of Drôme asks road users to delay their trips in the area as much as possible and to strictly respect the instructions of the police.
