Kalefeld (red). On Friday, February 12, there will be a blood donation appointment in the auditorium of the Auetalschule in Kalefeld from 4 p.m. to 7.30 p.m. Blood is always needed. A lot at the moment. Of course, the organizers of the local DRK association Kalefeld-Sebexen and the Springe blood donation service will take all necessary hygiene and protective measures that are required due to the current Covid-19 pandemic. A separate entrance and a separate exit will be set up. Every donor should use mouth and nose protection.
At the entrance, the temperature of each donor is measured and the personal details are recorded. The blood donation team and the helpers will also use mouth and nose protection. People who have been abroad in the last two weeks or who have had contact with people infected with Covid-19 are excluded from the blood donation. People who have had contact with suspected Covid 19 cases have to wait four weeks before they can donate again. Unfortunately, the popular buffet is not available due to the occasion. Alternatively, each donor receives a drink and a small snack to take away!
