What is only a small prick for some, usually means a last chance to be saved for the seriously ill. Blood transfusions are an important part of modern medicine. And even if numerous operations had to be postponed due to the corona pandemic, the need is still there.
For this reason, the Hanseatic city of Demmin will again be offering a donation appointment for the DRK blood donation service Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania in the coming week. On Thursday, May 20th between 2.30 p.m. and 7 p.m. in the school an den Tannen, Saarstrasse 23, everyone can do something good.
Pre-registration is not absolutely necessary, but it is possible to choose a date to avoid long queues. Because the DRK points out that the hygiene measures and distance rules can lead to waiting times outdoors. There are options for this on the website www.blutspendemv.de or the blood donor app. In addition, you must bring your ID card with you to the appointment.
