DRK and community honor deserving blood donors – Norbert Hagel donates blood 150 times

SCHEMMERHOFEN – In a ceremony, the local association of the DRK and the municipality of Schemmerhofen honored the blood donors involved in the DRK house.

Mayor Mario Glaser was delighted to once again honor deserving blood donors in the usual way and to thank them on behalf of the community and the German Red Cross. “You are doing your part for your fellow men and helping in various emergencies. This deserves great respect and recognition, “he stressed in his speech about him.

The heads of DRK preparation, Franz Karl Moder and Petra Raiber, thanked the winners for their voluntary donations on behalf of the local DRK association and are proud of the number of donations they have received. This unpaid commitment must be valued and is indispensable, since blood cannot yet be produced artificially. Franz Karl Moder noted that Schemmerhofen ranks third after Biberach and Laupheim in terms of annual number of donors. With a certificate and badge of honor for 10, 25, 50, 75, 100, 125. and 150 blood donations were awarded to deserving donors.

The honor bestowed on Norbert Hagel of Ingerkingen was a record. He was awarded 150 blood donations. The award concluded with a delicious meal and a welcoming reunion.
