For the second time this year, on October 7th, the beautiful rooms in one of the best hotels in the north will once again become a maritime location for DRK blood donors for an afternoon! In just 45 minutes, a blood donation can easily turn you into a lifesaver and help to ensure patient supplies of blood products in Schleswig-Holstein.

All donors receive a delicious snack from the hotel kitchen to give them energy after donating blood. Free parking is available in the hotel car park.
All healthy people aged 18 and over can donate blood. A local doctor decides whether you are fit to donate on a daily basis.
Blood donation at the DRK – become a lifesaver in 45 minutes
1. Reserve your desired date online and drink plenty of (non-alcoholic) fluids on the day of the donation
2. Registration on site by presenting your identity card
3. Completing the medical questionnaire
4. Short medical consultation and a small laboratory test
5. Blood donation: Collecting about 500ml of blood takes only 8-12 minutes
6. Rest break and snack after the donation
