On Saturday morning, August 3, 2024, at around 11:45 a.m., a car without license plates was found driving in the area of ​​Waldstrasse in Germersheim, but was not initially subjected to a traffic check. As part of the search measures, the 54-year-old driver was checked while attaching the license plates in a parking lot on Ludwig-Erhard-Strasse. During the subsequent investigation, it was finally determined that the car was neither insured nor registered. Furthermore, the 54-year-old did not have a valid driver’s license. The license plates were confiscated and appropriate criminal proceedings were initiated.
