On the evening of May 25, in downtown Bron, a man was arrested for driving a scooter without a license and causing an accident. He hit a car and fled.
On May 25, around 5 p.m., the police spotted a 24-year-old man riding a scooter on the tram tracks on Franklin Roosevelt Avenue in Bron. During his journey in downtown Bron, the suspect hit a car in traffic, after the shock he fell to the ground. The driver of the hit car tried to stop the young man, but he managed to escape by getting into another nearest car, threatening the driver.
A few minutes later, the suspect was apprehended on the avenue du 8 mai 1945 in Bron.
During the investigation, it was found that the scooter had been stolen and that the driver’s license found in the suspect’s belongings did not belong to him.
Placed in police custody, the young man denied his involvement in the charges against him. The suspect was brought to justice.
