The court in Den Bosch has convicted a driving instructor from Helmond for assaulting four students. The 63-year-old man is sentenced to ten months in prison, six of which on parole.
The abuse took place between June 2016 and June 2017. While driving, the man kissed his students, all girls, and touched their crotch and breasts. According to the judge, they could not do anything about it, because they had to continue driving the car.
“I had to switch gears at some point,” one of his victims told the police. “He then said to be careful not to grab anything other than the poker. His hand was then between my legs. From then on, he touched me every lesson.”
The judge blames the man for not recognizing his mistakes and for not caring about the harmful consequences of the abuse. He also has to pay the victims a total of 3700 euros in damages.
