THE LIVE LIVE OF THE FEMALE GIANT OF KRANJSKA GORA AT 9.30 AND 12.30

11.27 Sandro Simonet slips into 30th place and eliminates Maurberger.

11.25 Simon Maurberger is now on the edge, 30th.

11.24 Dominik Raschner is placed in 25th position, ex-aequo with Giuliano Razzoli who in the meantime continues to hope. OFFICIAL THE ELIMINATION OF HENRIK KRISTOFFERSEN.

11.22 In the meantime, Kristoffersen has dropped to 29th position and sees elimination getting closer and closer.

11.21 Maurberger starts! Very good in the first part, good pace but the difference is made on the wall. A lot of effort in entering the steep for him who can’t make so much speed. At the finish line he is 28th at 3.91, for now inside but almost impossible mission for qualification.

11.20 Stefan Hadalin goes ahead of Gross and makes the latter and Razzoli climb one position.

11.19 So for now there would be four Azzurri in the 30s. Gross’ time should be enough, but more difficult for Razzoli. Soon it’s Simon Maurberger’s turn.

11.17 This is the ranking when the top 30 dropped:

  1. Lucas Braathen (NOR)
  2. Loïc Meillard (SUI) +0.52
  3. Linus Straßer (GER) +0.60
  4. Manuel Feller (AUT) +0.82
  5. Atle Lie McGrath (NOR) +0.94
  6. Marco Schwarz (AUT) +1.16
  7. Timon Haugan (NOR) +1.16
  8. Tommaso Sala (ITA) +1.34

15. Alex Vinatzer (ITA) +2.10

20. Stefano Gross (ITA) +2.98

22. Giuliano Razzoli (ITA) +3.41

11.15 Gross thrust in the upper part, where the gap is around the second. The solid performance continues for the blue who in the end is 20th at 2.98! He loses a lot in the final but it’s a time that should allow him to stay in the 30!

11.14 Excellent performance for Rochat who is placed in 14th position with a gap of 2.06! Stefano Gross will now close the first 30 starters!

11.13 Read goes behind Razzoli who for now retains the 20th place! Marco Rochat is leaving, after him it will be Stefano Gross!

11.12 Nothing to do even for Salarich who beats only Henrik Kristoffersen. Now the Canadian Erik Read is starting.

11.10 Forked for Winters who was risking everything! Now the Spaniard Joaquim Salarich.

11.10 Disastrous heat for Zubcic, who also follows Razzoli, with a gap of 3.80. The American Luke Winters is getting ready.

11.08 Manche full of errors for Aerni, especially in the second half. 19th place at 2.99. Now the Croatian Filip Zubcic.

11.07 Ramon Zenhaeusern leaves. The Swiss is putting together an excellent performance, one of the few to stay below the second halfway through the heat. At the finish he is 10th at 1.63, after losing a lot in the final. Now another “landlord”, Luca Aerni.

11.05 This is the provisional ranking:

  1. Lucas Braathen (NOR)
  2. Loïc Meillard (SUI) +0.52
  3. Linus Straßer (GER) +0.60
  4. Manuel Feller (AUT) +0.82
  5. Atle Lie McGrath (NOR) +0.94
  6. Marco Schwarz (AUT) +1.16
  7. Timon Haugan (NOR) +1.16
  8. Tommaso Sala (ITA) +1.34

13. Alex Vinatzer (ITA) +2.10

18. Giuliano Razzoli (ITA) +3.41

11.03 Immediately a risk for the blue who, however, is pushing and the times for now confirm this impression. Far from Braathen but among the best in the last descents up to the middle of the race. At the finish he is 13th at 2.10. In the second part he preferred to manage and make sure he entered the second heat, a choice that can certainly be shared.

11.02 Matt is 13th at 2.14 late. Alex Vinatzer starts!

11.01 Pertl goes after Gstrein with a very subdued heat closed with 2.69 delay. Another Austrian, Michael Matt, then it will be the turn of Alex Vinatzer.

11.00 Many mistakes for the Austrian who does no better than 14th place with a gap of 2.53. His compatriot Adrian Pertl prepares.

10.59 Razzoli is very cautious in the upper part and the gap in fact increases. Great effort on the steep where he has to chase the doors. The result is a non-exciting heat: he is 14th at 3.41 behind. Let’s hope it’s enough for qualification. Now Fabio Gstrein.

10.58 Popov is placed in 10th position with a gap of 1.66. It’s Giuliano Razzoli’s turn!

10.56 Good performance for the Norwegian Timon Haugan who is sixth at 1.16 behind. He loses a lot in the final after three intermediates in which he was competitive for the first four positions. Now the Bulgarian Albert Popov.

10.55 This is the ranking when the first 15 have dropped. The next blue will be Giuliano Razzoli with 18:

  1. Lucas Braathen (NOR)
  2. Loïc Meillard (SUI) +0.52
  3. Linus Straßer (GER) +0.60
  4. Manuel Feller (AUT) +0.82
  5. Atle Lie McGrath (NOR) +0.94
  6. Marco Schwarz (AUT) +1.16
  7. Tommaso Sala (ITA) +1.34

10.53 Great effort for Pinturault who loses a lot already at the top, until he reaches a gap of 2.35 at the finish line, valid for 11th place.

10.52 OUT OF FOSS-SOLEVAAG! The Norwegian lays down and it’s another big man who abandons the race! It is now the turn of Alexis Pinturault.

10.51 Difficult heat for the Englishman who beats only Kristoffersen and is tenth at +1.99. Another Norwegian, Sebastian Foss-Solevaag.

10.50 We recall that Kristoffersen has a delay of 4.12 from the head and is 10th for now, we will see if it will be enough to enter the second heat.

10.49 This is the provisional ranking:

  1. Lucas Braathen (NOR)
  2. Loïc Meillard (SUI) +0.52
  3. Linus Straßer (GER) +0.60
  4. Manuel Feller (AUT) +0.82
  5. Atle Lie McGrath (NOR) +0.94
  6. Marco Schwarz (AUT) +1.16
  7. Tommaso Sala (ITA) +1.34

10.48 FORK JAKOBSEN! Out too!

10.47 A mistake in the final is fatal for Strolz who is only ninth at the finish line with a delay of 1.70. At the gate is the Swede Kristoffer Jacobsen.

10.46 Schwarz is sixth at 1.16 with a test very similar to that of Sala in the intermediates. He does better than the blue in the final and puts himself in front. Now last year’s winner, Johannes Strolz.

10.45 Small mistake at the start for the Italian who has great difficulty finding rhythm. Already 8 tenths behind in the middle of the heat, at the finish line the gap is 1.34, which earns him sixth position. Not an exceptional race but still solid on a very difficult track. However, there won’t be many to put themselves in front of the blue. It’s up to the Austrian Marco Schwarz.

10.43 The young Scandinavian starts strong, but then loses a lot in the second part. Fifth at 94 cents. Here is the first blue at the gate, it’s Tommaso Sala’s time!

10.41 Risks calculated for Meillard who pushes without exaggerating. He loses something at every intermediate stage but stays close to Braathen, he’s second at 52 cents! The huge public makes the Swiss feel his warmth! Now it’s up to the Norwegian Atle Lie McGrath.

10.39 The skiing of Strasser is effective, which remains near Braathen in the upper part. At the finish line he is second at 60 cents! A good test for the German on a track that is proving to be extremely difficult to interpret. It’s the turn of the second Swiss, Loic Meillard!

10.37 The first of the favorites of the house left rather cautiously, probably aware of the many mistakes of those who preceded him. At the finish line he is third with a huge gap, 1.46 from Braathen. The German Linus Strasser prepares.

10.36 BRAATHEN GOES IN THE LEAD! 82 cents ahead of Feller who made an important mistake in the finale. Braathen’s time is very interesting and leads Kristoffersen to 4.12 from the head. Now it’s time for Daniel Yule.

10.35 Now the other Norwegian, Lucas Braathen!

10.35 Incredible risks for the Austrian who, however, is the first to reach the finish line! The advantage over Kristoffersen is 3”30. If this were to remain, the Norwegian could hope to return to the 30.

10.34 What twists at the start of the Adelboden slalom! Now let’s see how Manuel Feller will behave.

10.33 AMAZING! OUT OF THE FRENCH!

10.32 Now it’s up to the French Clement Noel.

10.31 Arrived along the line in one of the first gates, he made a mistake that will already be fatal for the race, we will hardly see him in the second heat.

10.31 ATTENTION! Immediately a very serious mistake for the Norwegian! He is back on track but has now lost an eternity!

10.30 WE GO! Kristoffersen trial begins!

10.28 Friends good morning and welcome to the LIVE LIVE of the special slalom in Adelboden! All ready for departure. It starts immediately with a bang, the first to go down will be the great favorite Henrik Kristoffersen!

Friends of OA Sport, good morning and welcome to the LIVE LIVE of the special slalom in Adelboden, Switzerland, valid for the Men’s Alpine Ski World Cup 2022/23. After yesterday’s giant, dominated by Marco Odermatt, we remain on the legendary Chuenisbärgli slope for the fourth slalom of the season.

One of the most awaited races of the season, on one of the slopes that made the history of the White Circus. Yesterday the public showed its support to the athletes and they won’t fail to do so again today for a new, spectacular slalom race. For now three different winners in three races, but from the great balance of the men’s slalom of these seasons, there is an athlete who is trying to emerge and who will start as a big favorite today: Henrik Kristoffersen.

The Norwegian dominated the Garmisch-Partenkirchen race, achieving his first success of the season. Yesterday in giant he was the first of the humans, for yet another podium this year. Kristoffersen is clearly in great condition and has already done well on Chuenisbärgli in the past. Two victories and four other podiums in slalom, even if the last success dates back to 2017.

Among the many who can compete for the victory there will certainly be another Norwegian, Luke Braathen, looking for redemption after two outings in the last two races. Manuel Feller is also in great shape, who was second last year, but watch out for hosts Loic Meillard and Daniel Yule (who won here in 2020).

The Azzurri will also try to be in the game, trying to give continuity to what was done in Garmisch. Stefano Gross and Tommaso Sala come from the best race of the season and can at least aim for a new top10. Objective also within reach of Alex Vinatzer and Giuliano Razzoliwho instead are looking for a result that can redeem a difficult start. The other blues in the race will be Simon Maurberger, Tobias Kastlunger and Matteo Canins.

Henrik Kristoffersen will be the first to hit the track, followed immediately by a newfound Clement Noel, kicking off the first heat. Departure scheduled for 10:30 with the tracing entrusted to the Swedish technician Calle Enocson. The second heat will start at 13:30 and will instead have the design of the Italian Simone Deldio. OA Sport will offer you LIVE LIVE of the race, with minute-by-minute and real-time updates, don’t miss it!
