Teen bikers that go viral are reckless Enter the Bakauheni toll road-Terbanggi Besar, Lampung, was arrested by the Traffic Police (PJR) of the Traffic Directorate of the Lampung Regional Police. The teenager admitted that he didn’t know that the toll roads were off-limits to two-wheelers.
PJR Polda Lampung AKBP chief Sugeng Suherman Widodo revealed that the 17-year-old teenager was arrested on Sunday (13/11/2022).
“Yes, he was arrested. HK (Hutama Karya) after seeing the CCTV then contacted us and then chased the relevant person,” Sugeng said, as reported by detikSumatraMonday (14/11).
The teenager with the initials MDP is a student of Budi Karya Vocational High School (SMK), Natar District, South Lampung. He admitted to police that he didn’t know that toll roads weren’t allowed for motorcycles.
“From his confession, he didn’t know that motorcycles couldn’t pass on toll roads,” Sugeng said.
The police also verified that the motorcycle the teenager was riding did not have a police number. There are also no vehicle papers.
