Class E

It is the license requested by people who want to drive taxis or vehicles for shared-use transport services such as Uber. The fees for this class of license are as follows:

– Applicants 18 to 18½ years of age: $110,00 / $120,00
– Applicants 18½ to 21 years of age: $103.75 – $110.00 from $112.75 – $120.00if it includes the rate of the Metropolitan Commuter Transport District (MCTD).
– Applicants 21 years of age and older: $91.25 – $97.50 from $100.25 – $107.25if it includes the rate of the Metropolitan Commuter Transport District (MCTD).

Clase M

In New York State, this license must be issued by persons who drive motorcycles or similar vehicles. The associated fees are as follows:

The rates offered by the DMV on its official website they do not include those that must be paid for a commercial driver license (CDL, for its acronym in English), which range between $50 and $150. Nor do they contemplate the additional payment of $30 per improved licences, if the applicant wishes to process it in order to have access to domestic flights without the need to present their passport or other identity document.
