Drivers in Zug can now buy parking permits via the centralplus app

Anyone who lives in the city of Zug and needs a confirmation of residence or a debt enforcement extract, for example, can order this via the “eZug” platform. “These services are often used only once by the population,” city councilor André Wicki is quoted as saying in a statement.

That is about to change, because the app will be supplemented with additional functions. The Zug Library account can now be linked to the app so that books or digital media can be reserved or borrowed. In addition, residents and guest parking cards can be purchased. In the app, you have to select your own license plate and the desired period. After payment, the parking permit is issued – digitally and without a parking card behind the windshield – and a confirmation email is sent.

In addition, the collection calendar for the removal of rubbish, compost, green waste and waste paper has been integrated. Users can individually set which pick-up services are relevant for them. With the new applications, the app will become a daily companion for the residents of Zug and “makes life easier for all of us,” says City Councilor Wicki.
