Drivers are at risk of aggressively hitting a car with their 12-year-old family. He refused to testify in court

According to the indictment, Štíbr drove two years ago near Prague in heavy traffic on the expressway in the direction of Příbram on a Volkswagen, in which a family with two small sons was driving. According to the plaintiff, he forced the release of the left lane, and in heavy traffic both lanes were full, according to witnesses.

When the driver of the Volkswagen did not dodge Štíbr, he drove him to the right at a speed of about ninety kilometers and in order to take revenge for not releasing the left lane, he threw a glass ball, more than two centimeters wide, into the passenger window of the Volkswagen. He broke a window and the glass cut the woman in the passenger seat and her six-year-old son, who was sitting behind her.

Štíbr refused to testify in the preparatory proceedings and in court. “I do not agree with the thing that is being said to me here, with any serious injury or any attempt,” he said at the main trial, however.

“The police are purposefully confused about the whole case. Perhaps some alleged offense became a serious crime, so I decided not to testify in the matter, “said Štíbr. “I see no reason to answer the questions asked,” the court assured.

They thought he was shooting at them

The woman, who was driving as a passenger, said in court that the man was forcing his free journey in an aggressive way. “There was nowhere to turn, at the exit to Jíloviště the car leveled next to me and at that moment a window next to me exploded. My husband thought someone was shooting at us, “she described.

After breaking the window, the Volkswagen driver slowed down, stopped at the curb, and waited for the police, who then called an ambulance. Meanwhile, according to the witness, Štíbr did not wait for anything and left the crime scene. “I still had to deal with it, I don’t understand things like that. It’s just not done, “said the woman.

According to the signs on the car, the family found Štíbr’s telephone number, which they called and asked for an explanation. According to the woman, Štíbr first defended himself by saying that he did not know anything, that it must have been one of his employees. Then he allegedly came up with the theory that it was probably a reflected stone. When he found out that the victims had a glass ball in their hand, he allegedly told them that he had received the ball from his son and that he was calming down with it in the car.

The woman also said in court that she had panicked terror from the incident, and her husband, who was driving a Volkswagen at the time, added that their sons were traumatized by the incident. The family demands a total of one million crowns from Štíbr as compensation.
