Driver Runs Over Woman with Her Dog and Hits Two Cars in The Bronx – NBC New York

A 22-year-old man is in police custody after allegedly hitting a 58-year-old woman who was walking her dog. In addition, he would later have crashed into two other vehicles parked in the Bronx.

Authorities say the incident occurred just before 7:00 a.m. near Morris Avenue in the Claremont Village section.

The unidentified suspect struck the woman after entering the park, then drove off and struck two vehicles parked nearby. Clay Avenue before trying to flee the scene, police said.

Before he could escape, he was detained by officers.

The victim was taken to Lincoln Hospital, where police say he was in stable condition with unspecified injuries.

It was unclear if the dog was also injured.
