NEW YORK – Authorities are searching for a suspect in pushing a traffic officer in New York City.
According to the New York Police, the incident occurred on Friday, November 27, at about 2:45 pm, in front of 5804 Fifth Avenue, in Brooklyn. A man allegedly pushed the 72-year-old to the ground as he tried to give him a ticket for parking illegally.
The suspect fled in a gray Nissan Rogue car.
The officer was transported to NYU Langone Hospital in stable condition but with back pain.
