The police intervened due to a commotion between driver taxibike online (ojol) and debt collector in Hegarmanah, Bandung City. The police arrested five people in connection.
“We have secured it, we have secured five people,” said Plt Wakapolrestabes Bandung AKBP Asep Pujiyono to reporters, reported detikjabarTuesday (7/3/2023).
Asep said the commotion allegedly occurred because of an improper vehicle withdrawal. Meanwhile, information was obtained that the secured party was a group debt collector.
“There was an improper withdrawal of vehicles (the withdrawal process),” he said.
monitoring detikjabar around 20.15 WIB, Jalan Merdeka in front of the Bandung Police Headquarters was full of motorbikes and ojol riders. They are seen wearing ojol’s signature green jackets.
Then, the ojol who was involved in the riot was found to have suffered injuries. Ojol, whose identity has not yet been identified, is already receiving treatment.
