The driver of this Toyota Vitz, who was under the influence of alcohol, ended up with the vehicle in the ditch along the Mawakaboweg in Suriname this afternoon.
After the incident, the driver was unable to get out of the car. The police were called in and went to the scene to investigate.
The law enforcement officers called in a towing service to remove the car from the snaffle. When the car was back on the road, the driver got out. He was unharmed.
As if nothing had happened, the motorist drank even more alcohol in front of the police.
The law officers have taken the man to the station and the car has been seized pending the investigation.
