Driver missing after an expensive Ferrari crash on the A1

The police found a crashed, very expensive car on the A1 highway near Naarden-Vesting last night. There is no trace of the driver.

The car, a Ferrari 812 Superfast, is one of the most expensive cars for sale in the Netherlands. The car is available new from 434,596 euros.

It is still unclear what exactly happened, reports NH News. After a report of an accident, the police say they quickly drove to the spot on the A1, but did not find a driver there. It is also unknown if anyone was injured. Not only the car, but also a guard rail was damaged.

During the recovery of the car, traffic had to make a detour via the Naarden-Vesting exit. The A1 is now open again.
