“Driver Escapes Through Window at Bayeux Hospital After Car Crash”

Transported to hospital in Bayeux (Calvados) after losing control of her car, she flees through the window.

AT Creponon the evening of Saturday, July 9, 2022, the gendarmes intervene on the scene of a road accident. A driver, driving at excessive speed, lost control of her vehicle and found herself in a field.

Taken care of by the firefighters, she is directed to the Bayeux hospital in order to undergo medical examinations, and for the purposes of the investigation, screenings alcohol and of narcotics in his blood.

“I am very afraid of hospitals”

Only the patient escapes through the window. Heard a few days later, while admitting to having drunk, she disputes having evaded the exams.

At the correctional hearing on Thursday March 30, she said: “I am very afraid of hospitals, I had a bad experience there”.

However, the prosecutor is convinced that she wanted to escape the controls and for a good reason. “She had just been sentenced a few months earlier for drunken driving”.

She receives 6 months, probationary suspension of 24 months, for the cancellation of her driver’s license. She will be prohibited from driving a vehicle without a breathalyzer for 2 years.
