The driver of the carnival car that fell off this afternoon during the Grand Carnival parade in Oldenzaal has been arrested. This is reported by the police, who are investigating the accident. A 39-year-old woman from Oldenzaal was hit on her head and was taken to hospital with unknown injuries. Police say the incident is being treated as a traffic accident.
