Shin claimed to have left the scene to seek help from a plastic surgeon, but the prosecution’s judgment was different.
In addition to the hit-and-run, there was also an attempt to destroy evidence.
Prosecutors found that Shin tried to talk to the hospital to hide the fact that he was taking drugs immediately after the accident.
The prosecution said that Shin tried to cancel the hospital payment details on the day and also confirmed the circumstances in which he tried to destroy the cell phone containing information related to the destruction of evidence.
The police, who handed over the case to the prosecution, are conducting an additional investigation into the alleged habitual use of drugs such as ketamine detected by Shin.
