TEMPO.CO, Jakarta – Special Police team arrested the aide and driver of the Inspector General’s wife Ferdy Sambo, Putri Candrawathi and took her to the National Police Criminal Investigation Agency. The two men had the initials Bharada RE and Brigadier RR.
“He has been detained at the Criminal Investigation Unit,” said the Director of General Crimes Bareskrim Police, Brigadier General Andi Rian via text message, Sunday, August 7, 2022.
Andi has not explained further about this arrest. He said this arrest was related to the crime in the case of his death Brigadier J at Ferdy Sambo’s official residence.
Currently, the National Police Headquarters is processing the case in two ways. The first is the alleged violation of the code of ethics related to the destruction of the crime scene and the taking of CCTV around the shooting of Brigadier J. This case is handled by the Special Inspectorate.
Meanwhile, the second case is the shooting crime of Brigadier J. The case was handled by the Special Team formed by the National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit.
Previously, Itsus had made a special placement for Ferdy Sambo on Saturday, August 6, 2022. The special placement at the Mobile Brigade Command Headquarters was related to his alleged unprofessional behavior at the crime scene at Ferdy Sambo’s house.
Komnas HAM had previously examined Ferdy Sambo’s aides.
One aide to the inactive Head of the Propam Police Division, Inspector General Ferdy Sambo, Bripda Ricky, told Komnas HAM that he did not witness the entire shooting incident that killed Brigadier J in Duren Tiga, Pancoran, South Jakarta.
Chairman of the National Human Rights Commission or Komnas HAM Ahmad Taufan Damanik said that during the examination of the Aide-de Camp or aides, Ricky admitted that he did not see the whole incident at Inspector General Sambo’s house.
“We have examined Ricky, the ADC who witnessed only part of it, did not witness the whole thing,” said Ahmad Taufan Damanik at the Komnas HAM office, Tuesday, August 2, 2022.
