Thiruvananthapuram: The accused who attacked the young women who were leaving after work at night in Kazhakoot, Thiruvananthapuram, on a bike and surrounded the police, has been arrested. Vishnu was arrested by the locals and handed over to the police while he was escaping after attacking the woman at VG Bhawan in Kachani Ayanikad. Many women employees of Technopark were victims of the accused’s assault.
Vishnu, a driver, regularly attacked women on his way back from work. Last day, he assaulted a young woman in Kulathur area. Police reached the spot but could not arrest him. An hour later, he again grabbed another young woman and was detained by the young woman and the locals and handed over to the police. A month ago, another young woman was caught in front of Infosys.
The accused was arrested while the police identified the bike that the accused had come to and collected the addresses of the owners of this type of bike. In order not to identify the person, the number plate of the bike was moved and the number was turned so that the number was not visible. After the attack, the method is to reach an empty place and return the number plate and escape. Three cases have been filed against him who was taken into custody by the Thumba police. The police are checking whether he is involved in similar complaints from nearby police stations.
