Driven by car in the jewelery shop window – robbery everywhere fails – BZ Berlin

Three masked men tried to attack a jeweler in Charlottenburg on Friday afternoon.

As the police announced on Saturday, witnesses observed that one of the masked persons drove a BMW in the Meinekestrasse several times over the sidewalk into the shop window of the jeweler around 4.35 p.m. This was badly damaged.

Two other men, one of whom was holding a firearm in one hand, are said to have stood to the right and left of the jewelry store.

Despite the brute force with which the trio tried to penetrate the interior of the jeweler, they did not succeed.

As witnesses told the police, the three masked men fled in a Skoda in the direction of Lietzenburger Straße. They left the BMW at the scene. A little later, passers-by saw a Skoda driver stop in the second lane on Pariser Strasse.

The driver and two other men got out of the car and got into a white van with which they are said to have continued their escape in the direction of Uhlandstrasse.
