Bremen – The city of Bremen has a colorful bouquet of pubs, bars, restaurants and cafés. Plastic bags are on display in a cult bar. An attraction will be added to this colorful bouquet at the beginning of September. Then the first Bremen cat temple opens at Bahnhofstraße 8. According to Christian Kübler, who is responsible for marketing and franchises at Katzentempel, eight cats from animal shelters will find a new home in Bremen. The concept of the cat temple: The vegan food is freshly prepared on site from high quality food and the cats serve as a relaxation factor. To ensure that the animals feel comfortable, the facility has been adapted for both target groups. On the one hand there is a modern ambience for men and women – on the other hand, the cats have also been thought of. Lots of climbing equipment and scratching posts also transform the restaurant area into an adventure playground for cats.

An absolute taboo zone for the cats are the kitchen and the preparation area. Because the usual hygiene rules also apply to the cat temple. According to the website, for example, the spelled bread is baked fresh on site every day.

The first cat temple opened in Munich around ten years ago. Bremen will be the 15th location. Other locations are Hanover, Hamburg-Hafencity and Cologne.
