Drill Drilling rises by debt agreement

There was a good atmosphere on Wall Street on Monday, where all of the main indices ended in green. The broad S&P index rose 1.22 percent to 4,783.61, while the industry-heavy Dow Jones index rose 0.84 percent to 36,251.19. Today’s winner was the Nasdaq technology index, which rose 1.30 percent to 15,857.14.

There was also a good atmosphere among the Norwegian companies, especially for Tor Olav Trøim’s rig company Borr Drilling. They could today announce that they agreed with creditors on a deferral of NOK 12 billion in debt.

  • Drill Drilling ended up as much as 15.08 percent, while on the Oslo Stock Exchange it rose “only” 9.13 percent.
  • Frontline fell 0.28 per cent, but rose 1.05 per cent on the Oslo Stock Exchange.
  • Golden Ocean rose 2.66 per cent, against an increase of 1.18 per cent on the Oslo Stock Exchange.
  • Flex LNG rose 0.53 percent. On the Oslo Stock Exchange, the share rose 2.27 percent.
  • Freyr rose 0.96 percent.
