Drew McIntyre as WWE champion was part of 3MB’s master plan

Drew McIntyre defeated Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 36 to become the WWE champion. Heath Slater joined WWE’s The Bump this week to offer his congratulations to his good friend.

McIntyre, Slater, and Jinder Mahal used to be partners in a group called 3MB, circa 2013, when they were comedy jobbers. Fast forward to 2017, and Jinder Mahal came out of nowhere to become WWE champion. Three years later that feat was matched by McIntyre. That leaves Slater as the only man left to bring home some top level championship gold to 3MB.

In the above video, McIntyre says the key ingredient needed to match what he and Mahal accomplished is for Slater to get in the gym and get jacked. Then he can come back and take out Braun Strowman for the Universal championship. Drew goes on to call it “part of our master plan,” and says the 3MB takeover will be complete once Slater takes out Braun.

Easy enough, right Cagesiders?

I’m not holding my breath waiting for this to happen, but I’ll tell you this much, I would have popped big time if Heath Slater was the man who replaced Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 36 and beat Goldberg in two minutes to win the Universal championship.
