A 68-year-old woman was subjected to racist abuse on a bus in Dresden on Thursday. According to police, the incident occurred around 4 p.m. in Loschwitz. The woman boarded a line 84 bus with her grandchild at Schillerplatz.
A woman was sitting there with her bag on the seat next to her. The 68-year-old asked the woman to take the bag away so that she could sit down with her grandson, police reported.
However, the unknown woman initially ignored the request and shortly afterwards began filming the woman with her cell phone. The 68-year-old asked the woman to stop. The woman on the seat then insulted the elderly woman with racist comments.
The woman got off at the Amselsteg stop. According to police, the perpetrator had dark hair that she wore in a ponytail. She was wearing a dark cocktail dress and had a leather bag with her. The police are asking witnesses to call 0351/4832233. (SZ)
