Die City recently informed about road closures by a large number of running enthusiasts from Dresden. At the start of the run, from the Rudolf Harbig Stadium, Lennéstraße in the direction of Lennéplatz is closed from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m.
In addition, there will be traffic disruptions on the following streets from 7:30 p.m. to 9:15 p.m.: Helmut-Schön-Allee, Lingnerallee, Blüherstraße, Grunaer Straße, Mathildenstraße, Pillnitzer Straße, Rietschelstraße, Terrassenufer, Bernhard-von-Lindenau-Platz, Devrientstraße, Ostra-Ufer and Pieschener Allee.
Road users should avoid the running route, it was said.
The starting signal is given by the Lord Mayor Dirk Hilbert (52) at 8 p.m. in the Rudolf Harbig Stadium. The finish line is five kilometers away in the new Heinz Steyer Stadium on Magdeburger Strasse. The organizer is Laufszene Events GmbH, which organizes the REWE Team Challenge in Dresden, among other things.
