On Thursday, family, ensemble and friends said goodbye to stage star “Kim Jackson” with a funeral service in the Carte Blanche theater.
The Dresden funeral home Müller accompanied Michael’s white urn to the theater and then took it to his hometown of Dortmund.
Ensemble member Christian Kern (49) decorated the stage for the moving farewell with candles, white and yellow chrysanthemums, roses and lilies.

Since his first appearance as Madonna in 1995, Michael had remained loyal to the ensemble.

“His loss is incredibly great for us,” says theater director Zora Schwarz.
