Deserved personalities of the craft guild are to be honored again in 2021, including Jörg Dittrich (51), President of HWK Dresden.
The problem: “Our archives don’t go that far back,” says HWK spokeswoman Carolin Schneider (35).
“That is why we depend on people who held their master craftsman’s certificate 50 years ago and earlier to contact us directly. We really want to honor everyone who is entitled to this award and not forget anyone.”
All persons who know a Golden Master are asked to contact the Chamber of Crafts.
To prepare the awards, those responsible need a copy of the master craftsman’s certificate. Either by post to: Dresden Chamber of Crafts / Event Management Department, Am Lagerplatz 8 in 01099 Dresden or by email to: [email protected]

By the way: this year alone, six women and 49 men were honored for their life’s work in the trade.
