As the developer confirmed, Dredge won’t be getting Iron Rig DLC until the end of the year. Instead, it was postponed until next year.
This will be sad for many fans of Dredge, but there is some good news.As the developers atSteamAs outlined above, they are very sorry for the delay. They wrote the following:
“A few months ago, we were excited to share our release plans for Dredge’s first DLC, ‘The Iron Rig.’ Initially, we planned to spend several months working on this exciting addition and release it this year. Q4 launch. However, as we progressed, we were faced with the reality that given the time of year, we needed more lead time to coordinate our marketing and make the launch as exciting as possible.While still providing our players with exciting DLC in 2023.
So, there’s new content on the way, even if it won’t be as big as the Iron Drill expansion. It’s disappointing that we won’t get the Iron Rig until next year, but hopefully Black Salt Games can do something to make the wait for 2024 seem less long.
