Dreame V11 stick vacuum cleaner review: Dreame makes a good copy

Without the right brush, the suction power is nothing and, apparently, Dreame was unable to learn from the limits of the V9. Indeed, the V11 is still not supplied with a conventional brush, with rigid nylon bristles and long enough to beat the surfaces and extract the waste. We must therefore be satisfied with a soft roller, similar to the one developed (like, like …) by Dyson, called Fluffy brush. And if it has proven effective on hard floors and fine carpet, it turns out almost useless on carpet with long pile.

On this type of soil, the Dreame V11 at intermediate power only collects 45% of the waste in 2 min. By engaging the turbo mode, the results are hardly better and we reach an efficiency rate of 58%. It is true that stick vacuums have trouble expressing themselves on long pile carpets, but many other models do much better than our model of the day. The Roborock H6, for example, harvest 91% of the rice in 120 s in normal mode and 94% in turbo mode.

Things get better on fine carpet, even if the brush tends to throw the trash behind it. All of the waste is picked up in normal mode in 1 min, and we can expect impeccable soil in just 30 s by switching on the turbo.

Finally, on hard floors, the Dreame V11 also delivers excellent results. In normal mode, we collect 99% of the rice in 30 s (100% in 60 s of course). Again, the turbo mode expresses its full potential: the ground is immaculate in 30 seconds.
