This is what the Ministry of Health says on its Twitter account.

“These funds from the government of the Republic will be disbursed gradually and managed by BCECO”, said Jean-Jacques Mbungani.

He points out that the studies are already underway.

“Already, around a little less than 5 million USD, for the studies are available in order to allow the realization of this project which will start in the weeks to come. You should know that to build 1,000 health centers across the country in order to meet the vision of the Head of State, which is to implement Universal Health Coverage. The project will take 5 years. Five years to bring what we call the supply of service care closer to the basic population. Through this project, the last kilometer of the DRC will be covered with health centers equipped, worthy and able to effectively treat the Congolese population…”, noted Mr. Mbungani.

Minister Jean-Jacques Mbungani said that 104 health centers will be built by December across the country.
