The director and founder of the Drawing Theater, Varis Klausitajs, together with people interested in the show of all ages, will find out who the eight characters are in the poem of this year’s jubilee, Ojārs Vācieš. Let’s invite the movers to visit the white sheets of paper to see what they look like, what they eat, where they live. Everyone has heard something different about the movers, so let’s put our minds together to find out what this fun company really is.
Drawing theater is a professional chamber theater, which was established in 2008 by actor and director Varis Klausitajs. Theater creates a unique form by combining drawing, music, acting and dance. The drawing theater has received several international awards.
After the performance, both young and old viewers will be able to participate in creative workshops, coloring their drawn puppets and singing the Sound Table.
Culture room “Tintnīca” (Pulka iela 8, Riga) is a place for new discoveries and experiences where you can meet interesting personalities and unusual perspectives.
Children of preschool and primary school age and their families will be welcomed to the show.
