Drawing Schedule for BWF World Tour Finals 2021 : Okezone Sports

NUSA DUA Indonesia Badminton Festival 2021 is coming to an end, where is the event BWF World Tour Finals 2021 will be the closing tournament of the three consecutive competitions that took place in Nusa Dua, Bali. The BWF World Tour Finals 2021 will start on December 1, 2021 until December 5, 2021, because it is getting closer, the draw will start soon.

The draw for the 2021 BWF World Tour Finals group will be held on Tuesday 30 November 2021 starting at 10.30 WITA or 09.30 WIB until it is finished. The venue for the event is the Bali International Convention Center, Nusa Dua.

Of the five sectors that are competed, only eight players/pairs will compete in the championship. Those who qualify are the players/pairs whose points are in the top eight on the World Tour rankings, not the world rankings.

Then, Olympic gold winners also automatically qualify for the World Tour Finals. However, they must participate in one of the IBF tournaments, namely the Indonesia Open 2021 or the Indonesia Masters 2021 as a condition.

Indonesia itself is only represented by four pairs in the men’s doubles, women’s doubles and mixed doubles sectors. While in the men’s and women’s singles sector, no one represents the Red-White Team

In the men’s doubles sector, there are Marcus Fernaldi Gideon/Kevin Sanjaya Sukamuljo and Pramudya Kusumawardana/Yeremia Erich Yoche Yacob Rambitan. Then, in the women’s doubles sector, there are the Tokyo 2020 Olympic champions, Greysia Polii/Apriyani Rahayu, and Praveen Jordan/Melati Daeva in the mixed doubles sector.

After the draw, the players will start competing on December 1 to 5, 2021. They will play in the same place as the Indonesia Open 2021 and Indonesia Masters 2021, namely at the Bali International Convention Center, Nusa Dua.

However, like the previous two tournaments, the 2021 BWF World Tour Finals also requires players, officials and media crews to carry out a PCR test first to prevent the transmission of the covid-19 virus. According to MPI’s monitoring, the PCR test was carried out today, Monday (11/29/2021) and has started since the morning.

Of course, it is hoped that the 2021 BWF World Tour Finals can run smoothly as seen at the 2021 Indonesia Masters and the 2021 Indonesia Open. Besides that, badminton lovers in the country also pray that the four Indonesian representatives can perform brilliantly at the 2021 BWF World Tour Finals.
