Printful currently has eight manufacturing facilities around the world, three of which are located in the United States – two in Charlotte, North Carolina, and one in Los Angeles, California. The Kopel plant will be the ninth Printful plant in the world and the fourth in the United States. The new plant will be the largest Printful plant in the world to date.
“We had more than a million orders every month in 2020. Thanks to the new plant, we will be able to further increase production capacity. During a pandemic, demand for Printful services continues to grow rapidly worldwide, especially in the US. The Dallas region is strategically important and ideal for businesses “Now we will be able to produce and ship products faster to customers in the central and southern states of the United States,” said Dfulis Siksnan, CEO of Printful.
Currently, delivery from other US plants to Texas is 3-6 business days. When the Kopela plant begins operations, delivery time to Texas will be only two business days.
In recent years, Printful has already invested $ 49.9 million in manufacturing equipment and IT solutions. The company also plans to invest an additional $ 15 million in the Kopela plant, including the purchase of new, high-quality equipment – 20 Kornit Atlas printing equipment and 48 embroidery equipment. At the new factory, Printful will offer digital printing equipment, embroidery services, as well as the opportunity for customers to store their goods in a warehouse.
