Rescuers from the Port Jefferson Fire Department on Long Island rescued a girl after being locked in a locker room that previously served as a vault for a city bank.
She was trapped after her little brother closed the vault door without knowing that it would be impossible to open later.
The firefighters had to open a hole in the wall to be able to remove it from the place.
“The teams of Rescue 7 they used air chisels and hammer drills to break through the 12-inch-thick wall. Once the hole was big enough, the girl could be helped out, ”the fire department said.
They said the call came Tuesday afternoon after the girl was accidentally locked in the locker room that once served as a bank vault.
Once the hole was large enough, firefighters were able to remove the girl.
The girl was not injured in the rescue. The event was reported by the Telemundo 47 television network.
